I have specialized in the archaeology of small finds ("instrumentum") of Iron Age and Roman date, mostly of metal but also of various materials, their classification, use, both of technical and cultural aspects. I am also doing some research in numismatics, mostly Celtic coinage in Gaul.
On both subjects I am involved in the construction and evolution of electronic databases (Dicomon and Artefacts)
