About
I wrote my thesis on Neoplatonic logic (Porphyry's lost commentary on the Categories), and worked mainly on Greek Neoplatonism for years. Now I'm becoming interested in Medieval Latin and Islamic philosophy, but what I'd really like to do would be establish collaborations with theorists of the so-called "hard sciences" : complexity theorists, quantum ontologists, theorists of the origin of life, and so on. I think modern and ancient science and philosophy could both benefit from mutual dialogue.
