Gender and Women's Studies - Urban Studies - Political Sociology - Ethnographic methodology - Saudi Arabia
My PhD dissertation dealt with gender segregation and women's access to public spaces in Riyadh, the Saudi capital.
My current research project is focused on the promotion of women's employment in Gulf countries within the broader framework of the "nationalization of jobs" that aims at replacing foreigners by nationals.
